Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits program to our full-time, regular employees and
their dependents. It includes the following:
Medical Insurance
Orizon offers health insurance through Unicare. Employees can choose between in
and out-of-network providers, and can elect coverage for themselves and their dependents.
The plan includes a prescription drug program.
Dental Insurance
Orizon offers dental insurance through the MetLife Preferred Dentist Program. Employees
may choose their own dentist and elect coverage for themselves and their dependents.
The plan provides coverage for all preventive dental, basic, major, and orthodontia
services.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
Orizon provides its employees income protection in the event of short-term illness
or disability.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
Orizon provides financial protection to its employees by offering long-term disability
insurance.
Life Insurance
Orizon offers its employees group term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment
benefits.
401(k) Plan
Orizon offers a 401(k) savings and retirement plan to employees. The plan provides
the ability to invest pre-tax earnings (subject to IRS limitations) in a variety
of professionally managed funds. The plan offers more than 30 diverse funds in a
variety of investment categories, including aggressive growth, growth, growth &
income, income, and conservative.
Paid Time Off
Employees accrue 10 days of vacation leave and 5 days of sick leave each year. Personal
leave increases based on employee¹s length of service according to the following
schedule: A full-time employee will accrue 15 days a year after completion of the
third year of service and through the seventh year of service. A full-time employee
will accrue 20 days a year after completion of the seventh year of service.
Holidays
Orizon full-time employees celebrate 10 paid holidays each year.
Training and Certification
All Orizon employees qualify to receive company-paid training. Employees are eligible
to attend approved training to enhance job performance or career opportunities within
Orizon. In addition, Orizon reimburses employees for the cost of successfully passed
exams taken towards vendor certifications.
Referral Bonus
Orizon offers an Employee Referral Program that awards a cash bonus for the referral
and hire of a prospective employee.
