| Technology Infrastructure for the Federal Bureau of Investigation | |
| Orizon was involved in the engineering and installation of a new technology infrastructure for the Federal Bureau of Investigation under the Trilogy project.
Orizon served as part of the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) (formerly DynCorp) team responsible for upgrading approximately 27,000 desktops and 350 servers at 650 locations worldwide.
As part of the project, the team implemented high-speed local- and wide-area network communications throughout the bureau. Orizon engineers assist in deploying the new network system, and upgrading standard hardware and software in each FBI office. This deployment was initially scheduled to take place over a three-year period, but based on a change in plans was successfully completed in 24 months. As a result of the efforts of the Orizon team, the entire FBI staff of 11,400 agents and 16,400 other field employees has been networked together. The system enhances the investigative ability of Agents and support personnel. Trilogy has provided the basic resources and fundamental tools the FBI needs to support investigations and ultimately make the bureau's management of investigative and intelligence data more efficient. |

| ERP Implementation for the Department of Housing and Urban Development | |
| The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Comptroller developed the FHA Vision of Financial Management that describes FHA's goals and objectives for financial management systems and operations. FHA's vision incorporated the use of a new Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) compliant commercial-off-the-shelf software package to function as a subsidiary ledger that would capture and report on FHA's financial transactions in a manner consistent with federal rules and regulations. The new system would provide the ability to perform daily and real-time funds control, automate the reconciliation of fund and cash balances, and conduct queries of detailed case-level financial data. Orizon was selected as the prime contractor for the Legacy Applications Interface component of the overall project. On this prime contract, we are leading the project activities required to interface FHA's existing transaction and business support systems to the PeopleSoft General Ledger. This involves converting legacy systems accounting data to FedGAAP/USSGL compliant data. The technical environment includes PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle DBMS and Mainframe systems.
Since the system began full production in November 2002, Orizon has been providing a full spectrum of operational support as well as expanding the FHA’s use of PeopleSoft Financials in other areas. |

| ERP Implementation for the Department of Defense | |
| Orizon is currently assisting Northrop Grumman Information Technology with implementing the Defense Integrated Military Human Resource System (DIMHRS). This PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS) enterprise resources planning (ERP) solution will eventually replace hundreds of military legacy HR and payroll systems and is the world’s largest single implementation of an ERP system. The Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines will eventually all be on a singe instance of PeopleSoft HRMS, providing the Department of Defense with the capability of cross service resource management, more standard operating procedures, and a less costly and more efficient solution to its HR and payroll requirements. Orizon is responsible for providing design expertise in PeopleSoft HRMS functionality, expertise in military payroll processes and procedures, as well as a variety of other functional and technical disciplines such as requirements management, data management, broker messaging, configuration management, and interface documentation and design. The work to date has included:

| Data Management Services for the Department of the Treasury - Office of the Comptroller of the Currency | |
| The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), an independent bureau of the Department of the Treasury, is the federal financial regulatory body that oversees the nation's federally chartered banks. This bureau operates in a dynamic, fast paced environment. They receive disparate data from banks throughout the country, translate that data into a common format, and process the data to provide summary management information to the OCC leadership.
OCC, faced with a constant requirement to provide staff members with a myriad of details concerning the data OCC collects, turned to Orizon with a requirement to design, construct, and implement a corporate Data Repository containing the details of their Data Management architecture.
To meet this requirement, Orizon engineers built an agency-wide data repository. We also established the mechanism to dynamically update the contents of the repository as the details of the data management environment change. The Data Repository serves as the authoritative source of information about the data OCC gathers and uses to accomplish its mission. Orizon staff members also built and implemented a centralized Web-based application to enhance the storage and retrieval of OCC metadata. It brings together the automated and non-automated metadata into a centralized database and provide query capabilities to support the information needs of OCC users. This application, which uses Microsoft .NET Framework and SQL Server technology, was the first Section 508 compliant web application within the OCC.
As a result of our efforts, OCC staff members have direct access to the data management details that are required to perform the OCC mission. The repository provides a central location for information on OCC
data and allows staff members to more easily comprehend the intricate
relationships among the myriad of data. |
