In August 2004, Orizon was awarded a contract under the General Services Administration's Section 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) (previously the FAST contract). The GSA 8(a) STARS contract is a flexible and convenient small business set-aside contract for technology solutions. 8(a) STARS is a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle with a $15 billion program ceiling that allows government agencies to issue directed procurements up to $3.5 million dollars or compete contracts among pre-approved vendors.
