DHS Extends Orizon's Human Capital Contract
The Department of Homeland Security has awarded Orizon a task order to provide strategic
planning, policy development, accountability, organizational change management and
consultation services for the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. Having
supported DHS on the creation of their Human Capital Strategic Plan, Orizon is now
tasked with assisting in updating the Plan and evaluating the impact of the Plan,
including HR system redesigns and service delivery integration, on employees, managers
and HR professionals. In addition, Orizon will be involved in program evaluation
for strategic, tactical, and operational activities to ensure proper integration
of human capital initiatives to achieve desired end states as well as addressing
agency action plans in response to objectives of the President's Management Agenda
(PMA). Orizon has been supporting DHS since February 2004.
