December 19, 2008 - Orizon awarded Navy Seaport-E contract
Orizon, Inc. has been awarded a contract to support Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort-e),
a Navy contract vehicle worth $5.3 billion per year over ten years that supports
the procurement of engineering, technical and program management, and financial
management support services for the U.S. Navy Commands and other Naval Organizations.
The contract has a four-year base period with one five-year award term and one additional
one-year award term, for a total contract term of ten years. Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity
contract Orizon will supply software engineering, development, programming, and
network support, information system development, information assurance, and information
technology, and program support for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems
Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command,
Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems
Programs and the Marine Corps.
